Standard Set B examination opportunity in Sydney

From 1 July 2011, financial advisers operating in New Zealand must comply with a new set of regulatory requirements. These requirements are set out in the Financial Advisers Act 2008 and the Code of Professional Conduct for Authorised Financial Advisers.
ETITO is the national standards setting body for the financial services industry and is responsible for delivering the compulsory Standard Set B examination in relation to the legislative framework for financial advisers including knowledge of the Code.
Currently ETITO is looking for an indication of the level of interest that Australian advisers have in sitting the Standard Set B examination. The examination will only be offered in Sydney, and proposed timing for the examination is mid-to-late July or early August. This is a one-hour online exam that will be conducted in a specified examination venue. The cost of sitting the examination in Australia is NZ$400.
