What can I do about my skill gap?

If you think you are unable to confidently complete the assessment of a unit stndard ETITO recommends the following:

• Increase professional development and knowledge of legislation, policy and code of ethics through training and then put into practice
• Talk to a mentor
• Talk to a senior colleague
• Talk to a professional association for advice
• Link to other financial industry websites, magazines, papers, workshops to keep up to date with changes within your industry.

If I complete courses for the National Certificate in Financial Services [Financial Advice] [Level 5] through an accredited provider will I need to be assessed through ETITO?

Yes. Standard Set B can only be assessed by ETITO, this will be a one hour supervised online examination. Standard Set C can only be assessed by ETITO or a Delegated Assessment Organisation [DAO].
